We offer high-performance polyester yarns specifically engineered for rubber reinforcement. Available in two distinct processing stages, our cords provide the dimensional stability and mechanical properties required for modern tire manufacturing and industrial rubber goods.
Polyester Stiff Cord: This is a thermally stabilized, high-modulus low-shrinkage (HMLS) polyester cord. It is processed to possess enhanced "stiffness" and dimensional stability, ensuring minimal deformation under load. It serves as an excellent rigid reinforcement medium for applications requiring high strength and low elongation.
Dipped Tyre Cord: This cord has undergone a proprietary "single-dip" or "double-dip" RFL (Resorcinol-Formaldehyde-Latex) adhesion treatment. This process activates the cord surface, creating a chemical and mechanical bond with rubber compounds. The dipping process also encapsulates the cord, protecting it from degradation and ensuring long-term durability in dynamic applications.
Key Properties:
High Tenacity: Excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
Low Shrinkage: Superior dimensional stability under heat and tension.
Enhanced Adhesion: Treated surface ensures a strong bond with rubber stock.
Flex Resistance: Maintains integrity under constant cyclic stress.
Applications:
Automotive: Tire carcass (plies), tire chafer, fishing net production
Industrial: High-pressure hoses, conveyor belts, V-belts, and air springs.
